Wearing next to nothing! Nicole Richie, Kate Hudson and Gigi Hadid flashed a lot of skin in nearly naked red carpet styles for the Daily Front Row’s 2016 Los Angeles Fashion Awards on Sunday, March 20.
Richie, 34, stunned in a plunging black lace Valentino gown with side cutouts and a multicolored waist detail. Her high collar had a Victorian-era vibe, and she paired the head-turning frock with a mix of her own gold and white-gold House of Harlow baubles and an arm band by Jennifer Meyer Jewelry. The Candidly Nicole star summed up her look (and those of her fellow A-listers) on the red carpet, saying, “I just wanted to be covered yet naked. That was my vibe.”
Hudson didn’t go see-through, but she did show off major skin in black and white separates by August Getty Atelier. Her bandeau crop top put her killer abs on display, while her wide-legged white trousers featured a skirt-like black overlay. She accessorized her ensemble with a necklace and studs by Jennifer Meyer (who was honored with Jewelry Designer of the Year at the event), a Lee Savage clutch and black Brian Atwood heels.
Gigi Hadid wowed in an almost completely sheer dress by Yanina Couture layered over a white La Perla Allure Bodysuit that showed off her long model’s legs. The see-through maxi had a flirtatious vibe with fringe down the skirt and embroidered sequined patterns on the bodice.
Gigi’s younger sister, Bella Hadid, who won Model of the Year, put the focus on her toned legs in a distressed blazer minidress by Moschino that had artful discoloration and burn holes near the hemline. She paired the ensemble with pointed black pumps and silver jewelry as she posed arm in arm with boyfriend The Weeknd.
Lady Gaga turned heads at the event, but not because she showed a lot of skin. The “Applause” singer, 29, made a statement in a pair of insanely high custom Brian Atwood platform heels. An onlooker at the party told Us that she had to walk super slowly so she wouldn’t topple over on her stilt-like footwear.
